Riverrun Resort is situated on the Vaal river between Potchefstroom and Parys in the Vredefort Dome. Surrounded by leafy mountains on the banks of the Vaal River, this laid-back resort is 55 km from the town of Parys. Basic tents sleep up to 4, and offer braai facilities, minifridges, microwaves, and tea and coffeemaking equipment; bathrooms are shared. Upgraded tents add en suite facilities. Bed linen and utensils are not provided. Children age 5 and under stay free. A vast lawn includes a picnic area, 2 outdoor pools (1 for kids), a mini-golf course and a playground. Activities such as fishing, game walks, river tubing, volleyball and table tennis are available. There's a convenience store, and a caravan park is on-site. Pets are welcome. The River Front Stands are situated on the Banks of the Vaal River and have Braai's in front of each stand with Standard Electricity points and a 6x6 paving Block. Block A & B Stands is on The River. Block A is closer to swimming pool. The Standard Back Stands Block C are situated at the back and are not on the River but also have a 6x6 paving block , standard electricity points and a Braai.
