For the first time ever, the automotive world in South Africa welcomes Haval's self-charging hybrid, offering the promise of both sustainable efficiency and dynamic performance.
Performance and Efficiency
Fuelled by a combination of a petrol engine and an electric motor, the H6 Hybrid prides itself on its impressive fuel efficiency, sipping a mere 5.2 litres per 100 kilometres. Not only does this combination reduce your carbon footprint—with emissions at a low of 121g/km CO2—it also promises an exhilarating drive.
Beneath its chic exterior, the H6 HEV conceals a petrol engine delivering 113kW and 233Nm, paired with an electric motor that contributes an additional 139kW and 300Nm. The combined force of these powerhouses propels the vehicle from 0-100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds.
With four driving modes to choose from—Standard, Eco, Sport, and Snow—and three Dynamic Steering modes, the Direct Hybrid Transmission (DHT) promises not just efficient fuel consumption, but also impressive acceleration, especially at lower speeds.
Exquisite Interior and Features
Step inside the H6 HEV and you're greeted with the peak of futuristic simplicity. The cabin is driver-centric, equipped with smart keyless entry and compatibility with both Carplay and Android Auto. The 8-speaker sound system guarantees an immersive audio experience for every journey.
The dashboard boasts a 10.25-inch Colour Combination Instrument, coupled with a 12.3-inch Colour Multi-Touch Screen and a state-of-the-art Head-Up Display. Adjustability and comfort aren't sacrificed either, with a 6-way electric adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof to enhance the driving atmosphere.
Safety - A Fortified Moving Fortress
Safety is paramount in the H6 HEV. The SUV is equipped with an array of safety features such as an Electronic Stability System (ESC), Traction Control (TCS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), and more.
The 360-degree camera provides a comprehensive field of view, eliminating blind spots. Its Intelligent Dodge feature guarantees safety during overtakes, ensuring ample distance is maintained when overtaking larger vehicles.
Other noteworthy safety features include Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), which engages under 60km/h to prevent or mitigate collisions; Door Opening Warning to prevent potential accidents while parked; and the nifty Automatic Parking with Reverse Memory Assistance, making parking a breeze.
Design and Aesthetics
The H6 HEV is a head-turner. Its sleek curves and futuristic LED head and tail lamps command attention on the road. The glossy black accents, sports rear spoiler, and panoramic sunroof further accentuate its contemporary design.
