How to Check If Your Meter Needs Updating

Prepaid users are encouraged to check their meter status immediately:

1. Enter 1844 6744 0738 4377 2416 on your prepaid meter’s keypad.

2. The display will show:

   • KRN 2: Your meter is updated, and no further action is needed.

   • KRN 1: Your meter requires an update to remain operational.

Steps to Update Your Meter

If your meter still shows KRN 1, the update process is straightforward:

1. Purchase a credit token from a legitimate vendor.

2. Along with your token, you will receive two 20-digit codes for the update.

3. Enter the codes into your meter to complete the upgrade.
