Watookal, meaning “whatever” in Afrikaans, perfectly encapsulates the versatility and freedom she wants her platform to represent. Since its inception on Instagram during her matric exams in 2016, Watookal has been Johlize’s creative outlet, allowing her to escape exam stress and entertain others.
