The first big club rugby weekend of 2025 is in the books – and what a way to kick things off!
Potchefstroom Dorp Rugbyklub’s teams gave local supporters a thrilling mix of victories, tough competition, and pride-inspiring performances.

🏉 Potch Dorp 1 92 – 0 Hurricanes
The First Team dominated with an unforgettable win, although the match was stopped early out of respect for an on-field injury. The club stands in full support of the decision and wishes all injured players a speedy and full recovery.
The Second Team showed real heart and fight, and our Women’s team – once again – made us incredibly proud.

Spotlight on the Ladies: New Jerseys, New Energy
Friday night’s game marked a special occasion for the Potch Dorp Women’s team, as they took to the field in their new jerseys for the very first time – proudly sponsored by The Go-To Guy.
Their hard work is paying off too – the team is currently topping the log in their league! It’s a testament to their unity, commitment, and growing momentum.
We’re backing them all the way!
