Die operasie was 'n sukses en ons is só dankbaar! Dokter kon sy eie ligamente agter heg, maar moes kunsmatige ligamente voor gebruik. Ongelukkig het Niekie die senuwees na sy voet báie erg beseer en ons is nog onseker of hulle op hul eie gaan kan herstel. As die senuwees nie doen nie, kyk ons dalk na nog 'n operasie op 'n latere stadium... Ons bid wel kliphard vir genesing

The operation was a success and we're so grateful! The doctor was able to reattach his own ligaments behind the knee, but had to use artificial ligaments for the front of the knee. Unfortunately, Niekie seriously injured the nerves going to his foot, and we're unsure if they'll heal themselves. If they don't, Niekie is facing another operation at a later stage. We're still praying for a full recovery.
