On the 20th and 21st of September, members of the Potchefstroom Rugby Club proudly participated in the Klerksdorp 7's Rugby Social Event. Now in its 14th year, the Klerksdorp 7's festival has established itself as a well-known event, attracting teams from neighboring cities and countries alike. The festival features a variety of sports, including rugby 7's, cricket, hockey, dodgeball, golf, and netball.
Two local teams took to the field: the Potchefstroom Gladiators, who competed in the Club Division, and the Party Panthers, who took part in the Social Division. Some of the players travelled from as far as Cape Town and Port Elizabeth to participate.

Despite the cold weather and wind, every player gave their all on the field. Thankfully there were no serious injuries and the players had the privilege to represent Potchefstroom Rugby Club, bringing home the Plate and Bowl trophies.
