This past Saturday, 3rd August, Hoër Volkskool hosted the second installment of the North West Mountain Bike Schools League, where Baillie Park Primary continued their dominance by securing the top position in the league for primary schools.
Stellar Performances Across Categories
Baillie Park’s young cyclists showed off their skills and endurance, contributing to their school’s leading status with commendable individual performances across various age groups. Here’s how our young riders fared:
Sub-Nipper Boys (7-8 years)
Waldo Potgieter finished 3rd, leading a strong team showing that included multiple top-40 finishes.
Sub-Nipper Girls (7-8 years)
Elanie van Niekerk took a commendable 4th place, with Marli Meyer close behind in 6th.
Nipper Boys (9-10 years)
Jemma Gouws clinched 1st place, showcasing exceptional talent and determination.
Sprog Boys (11-12 years)
Henrey Jacobs led the pack with a first-place finish, with Hanru Odendaal securing 4th.
Sprog Girls (11-12 years)
Zandri Janse van Rensburg and Grizelda Janse van Rensburg took 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
Sub-Junior Boys (13-14 years)
Henri Jonker topped his category, followed by Ignu Cordier who took a strong 3rd place.
