Baillie Park School's tennis teams have once again demonstrated their prowess on the courts with impressive results from the league matches held from July 29 to August 1. Our young athletes played exceptionally, maintaining high standards and proudly representing our school.
Strong Performances Across the Board
The matches, which spanned several days, saw multiple age groups competing with schools from across the region. Here’s a breakdown of the results:
Boys' Teams:
Under 9A: Faced a tough match against Mooirivier, losing 15-35.
Under 9B: Dominated Curro with a convincing 48-2 victory.
Under 11B: Secured a strong win against ML Fick, 52-18.
Under 13A: Overwhelmed Curro, winning 57-13.
Under 13B: Triumphed over ML Fick with a staggering 66-4 score.
Girls' Teams:
Under 11B: Defeated La Hoff comfortably, 51-19.
Under 13B: Matched their younger counterparts with a 51-19 win against Meiringspark.
