In a nail-biting final against Wonderfontein High School from Carletonville, the boys emerged victorious with a 21-12 win. The game was a true testament to their hard work, skill, and unwavering determination.
First-Half Dominance
Die Wilge High School led the charge in the first half, establishing a commanding 14-0 lead by halftime. Boitumelo Mancentsa was instrumental in this early success, kicking three successful penalties and one conversion. His precision and composure under pressure were key to building this early advantage.
Second-Half Resilience
The second half saw a revitalized Wonderfontein team fighting back, but Die Wilges defense stood firm. The game was sealed with a brilliant try by Neo Nkuna, ensuring their victory and the championship title. Despite the intense pressure,the team's resilience and teamwork shone through, preventing Wonderfontein from closing the gap.
