Gimmies cross country marathon team clinched an impressive overall fourth place at the recent North West Schools XCM, showcasing their endurance and skill in one of the most challenging athletic disciplines.

The youth boys' category saw a standout performance from Reuben Jonker, who raced ahead to claim the first-place finish. His victory not only highlighted his individual talent but also set a high standard for his teammates.
In the sub-junior boys category, Gimmies continued to dominate, with Phillip Moodie leading the pack and securing first place. Close behind him, Alex Fourie captured second place, demonstrating the depth of talent within Gimmies team. Tjoppie Malan also made a strong showing, finishing sixth and adding to the team’s overall points.
