The Champ is Here Sazisiwe Simon Clinches Bantamweight Title
In the main event of the night, Rustenburg's Sazisiwe Simon was crowned the North West Provincial Bantamweight champion, delivering a stunning performance against the Free State's Nosiacaswa Dube. Simon dominated the majority of the 10-round contest, landing calculated and powerful shots that had the crowd on their feet.
Winning by unanimous points decision with scores of 94-96, 96-97, and 93-97, Simon was the epitome of confidence, even celebrating in advance as she sensed her impending victory at the end of the final round. Asanda 'The Golden Girl' Simelane, also hailing from Rustenburg, didn't disappoint her fans either.
