The Volkies 1st cricket team is currently competing in the prestigious Mossieweek tournament in Nelspruit. July 4th, they faced a formidable opponent in Menlo Park. Despite a valiant effort, they had to concede defeat.
Celebrating Individual Excellence
While the team faced a tough challenge, there were standout performances that deserve special recognition. Congratulations to Attie Liebenberg for his incredible innings, scoring 146 runs off 113 balls. His performance was a display of skill and determination.
We also applaud Eduan van der Merwe for his exceptional bowling, taking 5 wickets for 54 runs. Eduan’s effort on the field was commendable and showcased his talent.

Although the team didn't come out on top today, we are immensely proud of their effort and sportsmanship. The Mossieweek tournament continues, and we are confident that the team will bounce back stronger in the upcoming matches.
