This month-long competition kicks off on June 1, 2024, with the chosen DJs progressing through several intense rounds. Here’s how it all plays out:
Quarter Finals: June 7, 8, 14, 15 (Live on Maklera Magazine)
7 June: Wolmaransstad vs. Zeerust
8 June: Vryburg vs. Orkney
14 June: Mahikeng vs. Klerksdorp
15 June: Rustenburg vs. Potchefstroom
Semi-Finals: June 22, 28

How to Participate
Think you’ve got what it takes? DJs can nominate themselves by getting the most likes and reactions on the Maklera Magazine Facebook post. From Klerksdorp, Alabama, Jouberton, Orkney, Kanana, and Khuma, the top 10 DJs will battle it out to represent Matlosana. Four representatives from each city will move forward.
