The ladies of Shofar Potchefstroom are at it again – and this time, they’re serving up spiritual nourishment with a side of sponge cake. The “Awaken” Shofar Women’s Ministry is inviting women from all walks of life to an evening event that’s as sweet as it sounds: Cake & Jesus.
A Slice of Faith and Fellowship
Set to take place on 24 April 2025 at 18:00, the event promises an evening of honest conversation, faith-driven reflection, and yes, actual cake – not just metaphorical inspiration. Hosted at Gracias Gastehuis, Mooivallei Park, this is one gathering where you won’t be asked to fast.
This year’s theme dives into the lives of women in the Bible – no frills, no fluff, just real stories of faith, obedience, and courage. Think less “Pinterest Proverbs 31 Woman” and more “she walked through some serious stuff and still said yes to God.”
