Locals are being invited to take part in a light-hearted challenge — find hidden Easter eggs in the store and you could walk away with a share of more than R5,000 in prizes.

According to the team at Build it Potchefstroom, it’s as easy as spotting a bunny at a carrot festival. The concept is simple: head down to the shop, keep your eyes peeled for those sneaky Easter eggs, and stand a chance to win.
No complicated forms, no needing to phone a friend – just you, the shop aisles, and a good old-fashioned egg hunt.

The prizes are described as “great”, and while no one's revealing the full loot just yet, the total value tops R5,000 — not too shabby for just a bit of egg-spotting. And let's be honest, who doesn’t enjoy a bit of competitive lurking between power tools and paint tins?
