With routes ranging from a quick 10 km to an ultra-marathon-worthy 115 km, there’s something for everyone—whether you’re an old pro or just someone who dusted off the bike for the first time since lockdown.
What’s the Deal?
The Venterskroon Inn Gravel Race will kick off in the scenic surroundings of Venterskroon Inn, Potchefstroom. Starting and finishing at the Inn, the event boasts five different race categories:
115 km Ultra Marathon – R660
80 km Gravel Endurance – R540
52 km Gravel Challenge – R300
20 km Starter’s Spin – R120
10 km Family Ride – Free (perfect for kids or anyone avoiding cardio at all costs!)
When and Where?
Race day is 25 January 2025, and all routes start bright and early. Make sure you’ve got your coffee and bike prepped because the start times are staggered:
115 km: 06:30
80 km: 07:00
52 km: 07:15
20 km: 07:15
10 km: 07:15
For those keen on avoiding a last-minute rush, registration opens the day before, on 24 January, at Venterskroon Inn from 18:00 to 20:00.
