A Saturday Morning with a Difference
On Saturday, 5 April 2025, Klerksdorp’s martial arts community will have the chance to sharpen their grappling skills under the watchful eye of Sensei Willie Heath. The grappling seminar, hosted by The Pit Ju-Jitsu, promises to be a valuable session for both seasoned martial artists and those looking to refine their technique.
What’s on the Agenda?
The seminar will run from 10:00 to 11:45 AM at 6 Dr Yusuf Dadoo Ave, Wilkoppies, Klerksdorp. The session will focus on escapes and submissions, essential skills for any grappler looking to improve their ground game. Open to participants aged 12 and above, the seminar costs R250 per person.

Who is Sensei Willie Heath?
For those unfamiliar with the name, Sensei Willie Heath is a seasoned martial artist with an impressive track record:
22 years of martial arts experience.
Started Ju-Jitsu in 2003, achieving his black belt in 2015.
Two-time World Morganti Ju-Jitsu Champion.
One-time World Ju-Jitsu United Nations Champion.
14-time National Ju-Jitsu Champion.
11 years of experience as an instructor.
In short, this is someone who knows his way around a tatami.
