Potchefstroom is about to host an evening that promises a true journey for art lovers, foodies, and wine enthusiasts. The Jaarsma's Art, Food, Wine and Art Expedition is set for 18 September 2024, and it’s going to be an evening filled with flavour, creativity, and good vibes.
An Evening for the Connoisseurs
If you’ve got a thing for wine, art, and culture – this one’s for you. Hosted by Mandie Uys, the event kicks off at 127 Hoffman Street at 6 PM sharp. From there, the night will flow between two locations, showcasing not just art, but the stories behind the brushstrokes, carpets, and wines.
What to Expect
The event is packed with all sorts of experiences:
Wine Tasting – Expect five top-notch wines, each paired with snacks that make the flavours sing. You’ll even get a behind-the-scenes peek into the art of winemaking.
Persian Carpets – Get the lowdown on the centuries-old traditions woven into these intricate designs.
Art Showcase – Featured artist Leatitia Coetzee will be showing off her work, alongside pieces from painters and potters that will be on display throughout the evening.
Live Performances – Keep an eye out for Constant van Graan, who’ll be performing both as an artist and an author – adding a little storytelling magic to the night.
