Award-Winning Dancers Will Grace the Stage in Potchefstroom
On November 24, 2023, Georgina's Dance Studio will present "Luminary," a mesmerizing dance show at the Snowflake Venue in Potchefstroom.
The Evening's Sequence of Events
The show will commence with visual art projections adorning the walls of the Snowflake Venue's first hall. Guests will then be ushered into an alley at the venue, where wine and cheese will be served, accompanied by Spanish dances. The grand finale will take place in the main hall, featuring ballet, contemporary dances, and additional Spanish performances. Interspersed throughout these segments, Almero Welgemoed will contribute his musical talents.
Who's Taking the Stage
The show will be orchestrated by Georgina's Dance Studio from Vaal Park in the Free State. Earlier this year, their dancers shined in the Dance World Cup in Braga, Portugal, scoring above 82.3%. Notably, Cebisile Banda won the Junior National and Folklore Dance Solo category with an impressive 95.4% score for her Spanish dance.
Accompanying the dancers, guest artist Almero Welgemoed, a passionate Afrikaans poet and musician, will share his artistry with attendees.
