For three lucky varsity students, grocery shopping is about to get a whole lot more exciting. Pick n Pay West Acres Shopping Centre is hosting the Back2Varsity Trolley Dash on 21 February at 09:00. It’s a simple concept: if you’re picked, you run through the aisles and grab as much as you can – for free.
How to Enter
Entering is straightforward but requires a little spending power. To stand a chance, students must:
Spend R500 or more at Pick n Pay West Acres.
Write their name and contact details on the back of the slip.
Drop it into the entry box in front of Pick n Pay.
Have their valid student card ready—no student card, no dash!
The Big Day
Three students will be drawn to take part in the dash. The rules are simple: if your name is called, you run. What you grab is yours—no checkout needed. Other terms and conditions will be shared on the day, so it’s best to show up early and pay attention.
Why Take Part?
Let’s be real—every student dreams of filling a trolley without worrying about the bill. Whether it’s instant noodles, stationery, or a bulk supply of coffee, this is a golden opportunity to stock up. And let’s face it, watching someone frantically push a trolley at top speed through a supermarket is entertainment on its own.
If you’re a varsity student who wouldn’t mind a free shopping spree, make sure to enter. The box is already waiting at Pick n Pay West Acres, and you’ve got until the draw to get your slip in. Bring your student card, bring your best running shoes, and get ready to dash!
