The much-anticipated Boere Boss Plaas Drags are set to kick off on 7th September 2024. Hosted at Plaas Jersey, conveniently located between Orkney and Bothaville, this event promises a full day of excitement for petrolheads and families alike.
Event Details
Gates open bright and early at 08:00, giving attendees plenty of time to settle in before the drag racing action begins at 10:30. The event runs until 16:30, so there’s plenty of time to show off what your bakkie can do. And if you’re more of a spectator, there’s live entertainment and various stalls to keep you busy.
Ticket Pricing
Tickets are quite affordable: R50.00 per person. For those who want to bring their own refreshments, it’s R250.00 per cooler box. If you’re planning to compete, entry is R300.00 for the drags and R100.00 for grudge matches.
Big Screen Rugby and Prize Giving
Don’t worry about missing out on the big game! A massive screen will be set up to broadcast the South Africa vs All Blacks rugby match at 17:00. Stick around for the prize-giving ceremony at 19:00 to see who takes home the bragging rights.
