The greens are ready, the scorecards are waiting, and the golfers of Vaal de Grâce Golf Estate are gearing up for one of the most anticipated events of the year – the 2025 Club Championships. Taking place on 15 & 16 March 2025, this event is set to test skills, patience, and perhaps even the occasional sense of humour as players navigate the course in pursuit of glory.

Tee Times & Divisions

Tee-off begins from 07:00, so there’s no sleeping in. Golfers will be competing across various divisions, catering to different handicap indexes:

• Men’s A-Division (Handicap Index 6.0 & under) – Medal

• Men’s B-Division (Handicap Index 6.1 - 14.9) – Medal

• Men’s C-Division (Handicap Index 15.0 & upwards) – IPS

• Ladies B-Division (Handicap Index 6.6 - 15.3) – Medal

• Ladies C-Division (Handicap Index 15.4 - 30.0) – IPS

• Juniors – IPS

It’s serious competition, but at the end of the day, it’s also about the love of the game.

Entry Fees & What's Included

For those brave enough to take on the challenge, the entry fee is:

• R600 for A & B Division (54 holes)

• R450 for C Division & Juniors (36 holes)

That’s not just a ticket to the competition; it also covers:

✔ Green fees for both days

✔ A proper meal – Steak & Chips on Saturday night

✔ Prize Giving on Sunday – because every golfer deserves a chance at recognition

Deadlines & Memberships

If you're keen to play, don't dawdle. The entry closing date is 12 March 2025 at 12:00 sharp. Also, a heads-up – membership fees must be settled by 10 March. No last-minute scrambles, please.

It’s not all golf swings and scorecards. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) kicks off at 18:00 on Saturday, 15 March. A necessary part of club life, the AGM is where members have their say. Whether it’s about the club’s future or just a strategic way to claim the best seat at the prize-giving dinner, your attendance is encouraged.
