The North West Dragons Men started their season on a high with a four-wicket win over the Free State Knights in their CSA One Day Cup opener.

The Knights posted 257 in 47 overs, powered by Jacques Snyman’s explosive 85 off 77 balls, while the Dragons’ bowlers struck back with Ruan de Swardt (3-44), Kerwin Mungroo (2-35), and Matthew Kleinveldt (2-39) keeping the visitors in check. Janneman Malan led the chase with a superb 90 off 118 balls, supported by Matthew Kleinveldt (42) and Rubin Hermann (30) before De Swardt (19) and Migael Pretorius (23)** finished the job in style with 3.1 overs to spare.
