The Snowflake Venue, originally established as a steam mill in 1921 by William Hinchcliff Horsfall, has evolved into a cultural landmark in Potchefstroom. In 1997, Albert Bothma took ownership of the property, transforming it into the vibrant venue it is today. Despite its transformation, the venue has preserved its rich historical roots, with Heritage Potchefstroom Erfenis marking it as a site of historical value in 2019.
