Indlela Group of Companies gears up for their Day/Night Golf Tournament – in support of PAWS
Golfers in Potchefstroom better dust off their clubs and charge up their glow balls, because on 25 April 2025, the Indlela Group of Companies is hosting their annual Day/Night Golf Tournament – and it’s all happening at the Potchefstroom Agricultural College.
This isn't just any regular round of golf. We're talking tee-offs at sunset, glowing greens, and navigating sand traps by starlight. And if that’s not enough of a twist, it’s all in aid of a good cause: PAWS Animal Welfare, the local shelter that believes paws, claws, feathers, or fur – all animals matter.
Golf with Heart
The tournament kicks off at 14:00, giving everyone plenty of daylight to warm up before taking on the unique night leg of the course. While the pros might try to keep a straight face, we’re betting the light-up balls and disco-style fairways will bring out everyone’s inner kid.
The format? Simple:
18 x 4-balls at R3000 per team
9 watergatte (yes, water holes – it is Potch, after all) available at R500 each
Whether you're chasing a birdie or just chasing your own ball in the dark, it’s all part of the fun – and all for the furballs.
Not Just for Golfers
No one’s going to be checking your handicap at the door. This event is for seasoned players, weekend warriors, and everyone in between. If you can swing a club (or at least try), you’re in.
Expect a lekker atmosphere, some friendly competition, and a whole lot of support for PAWS. The more teams and sponsors on board, the more tails get wagged – simple maths.
