CAD Operator

Experience Needed:

Our company is looking for a CAD Operator to develop technical drawings of products using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD. After making a draft, you will submit it for approval and make any necessary revisions. You will also prepare supporting documentation that includes product materials and dimensions before distributing the information to the appropriate external contractors and updating our internal database. Applicants should have a technical background in drafting or construction design and experience with CAD software.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Degree in drafting, additional courses in CAD software, or equivalent job experience Practical experience with CAD software & knowledge of engineering A completed apprenticeship would be advantageous Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and superb work ethic Technical design skills & a deadline-oriented mindset

Duties Include:

CAD Operator Duties and Responsibilities: Develop technical drawings using CAD software Make revisions and obtain approval from the client Maintain a database of drawings Prepare supporting documentation that includes product materials and dimensions Distribute drawings to internal departments
