JB Marks Municipality Responds to Leaked Confidential Document

Residents of JB Marks Local Municipality have recently been circulating a confidential document regarding advertised positions. In response, the municipality has issued an official statement clarifying the situation.

According to the statement released on Saturday, 15 March 2025, the municipality confirms that the document in question has been leaked but should not be considered valid or official. The key reason cited is the absence of the Municipal Manager’s signature, which is a requirement for authenticity.

An internal investigation has been launched to identify the individual responsible for the leak, and appropriate disciplinary action will follow.

The municipality has also urged residents not to share the document to prevent misinformation. They assure the public that all legitimate vacancies will be officially communicated through proper channels in due course.
