Singer-songwriter Luna Paige is rolling into Potchefstroom on Sunday, 4 May 2025 as part of her Oceanic Heart tour — and she’s bringing stories, soul, and a whole lot of love with her.

Touring With Heart

The Oceanic Heart tour, which began back in February, has already taken Luna through the Western and Eastern Cape, and she’s now making her way up north. The tour wraps up at the end of May, so Potch gets her near the tail-end — no pressure.

The show itself is a mix of original songs and a few reimagined classics by the likes of Neil Young, Nick Cave, Carole King, Norah Jones, and Janis Joplin. It’s not just a cover gig though — Luna’s known for putting her own spin on things, and her voice and piano/guitar combo do a lot of the heavy lifting. It’s a show for people who actually listen to lyrics and don’t talk through ballads.

Love, Actually

The theme of Oceanic Heart? Love. But not just the soppy stuff. We’re talking about the full buffet: romantic love, love for your mates, family, pets, and yes — even that complicated beast called self-love. There’s also love for nature and the open road, so expect a bit of wanderlust thrown in too.

If you don’t know Luna Paige yet, shame. But here’s the summary: she’s been around the block. Since 2003, she’s released five English albums, two Afrikaans ones, and one SAMA-nominated collaborative album. She also toured Europe for three months in 2024, performed all over the Netherlands, and came home just in time for a tour called Tuiskoms / Coming Home.

Later this year, she’s heading back to the Netherlands with a new production called Dreamland, but first, she’s doing what she does best: telling stories with a melody right here at home.
