The Office of the Executive Mayor:

Leading the municipality is Cllr Gaba Thithiba Ka Qhele, the Executive Mayor. The mayor’s office is responsible for overseeing the execution of municipal policies and ensuring that the vision for JB Marks Municipality is aligned with community development and growth.

• Cllr Lumkile Links serves as the Single Whip, maintaining order and discipline among councillors.

• Cllr Moithoesi Rosy Dassie, the Speaker, facilitates council meetings and ensures that the municipality operates democratically.

PR Councillors:

Proportional Representative (PR) councillors are elected based on the proportion of votes received by each political party.
